As a Trustee of the York Credit Union, I am always looking for ways to get the services of the Credit Union to the people who most need them. At our recent LibDem Party Conference, I took the opportunity to talk to the people on the CAB stand. 

There are Citizens’ Advice Bureau centres in almost every area, and they do a great job in helping and advising people when things get difficult. Money advice is often needed, so linking the Credit Union with the CAB is important. We had a useful chat and I will be working on some of the ideas now I am back here in York.
