I went to our Liberal Democrat Party Conference recently and met a lot of LibDem friends from all round the country. They were all in good heart and there was a very positive feeling throughout the time we were there.
Taking the opportunity to look round the stall and exhibitions, I came across Andrew Stunell MP, who is now the Minster for Communities and Local Government. e had a chat about the importance of local authorities in delivering services, which he understands well as he was a local councillor for some time. It was good to have the chance to hear some great speeches and come back refreshed and revived.
