Most of the area of the City of York is covered by licences for Fracking granted by the Government. The Environment Agency is running a “Meet the Regulator” session on Tuesday 29th at the Merchant Taylors (Aldwark) between 2pm and 7pm. This will be an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions and find out more from the organisations tasked with regulating the activities which would have a significant impact on the environment locally.
